What’s the Difference Between Orientation and Back to School Night?
The first few weeks of school are a busy and exciting time, and often filled with questions as families figure out their new routines. For Cluster families, there are two very important meetings coming up to help with those questions: Orientation Night, and Back-to-School Night.
Please read on and mark your calendar as you prepare to attend these two very important meetings. Make the most of your school year and get started armed with the right information!
***Orientation Nights – Please attend ONE Session***
Orientation night will serve as a place to present Cluster-wide and school-wide information, complete required forms, and receive key information about topics such as Extension Programs, First in Math, PIAs, Teacher Web, Edline, etc. Watkins Families: You only need to attend ONE orientation night at Watkins — the information presented will be the same across grade levels.

***Back to School Nights***
Back to School Night will serve as a time to meet your child’s teacher, learn about the curriculum for the year, and spend quality time learning about the policies and procedures in the classroom. We would like this night to be free of paperwork and campus initiatives.
