Money Available

Total discretionary funding amounts available at each campus are determined on a per-pupil basis. Out of the total, an amount is set aside for Teacher Materials Stipends (up to $100 per teacher). The reminder is divided between the grant cycles for that year. Campus Representatives adjust amounts according to interest and need, and communicate that with staff in advance of each deadline.

Approval

Each group of Campus Representatives considers proposals and discusses priorities with parents and teachers who attend the appropriate PTA meeting. Campus Representatives make final funding decisions at their campus.

Disbursement

When proposals are approved, grant money is disbursed either by reimbursement or invoice. Grantees should either purchase items and request reimbursement (using the PTA Payment Request Form) or submit an invoice to be paid by the PTA.
