Tomorrow's Virtual Event and Device Delivery
Good day Panther Families!
All families can access the live event tomorrow night without participant limit. Please use this link tomorrow at 8pm to meet with Principal Berkowitz and the leadership team at Peabody and Watkins. Some topics I plan to cover:

I also recently received an update from DCPS IT. They informed me that K-5 device deliveries are tentatively scheduled for 8/31 - 9/2. PK deliveries are scheduled for mid-September. This is obviously not the news we want to hear but I'm committed to sharing the latest with you. Ms. Montgomery is all over IT and the device distribution plan, but students having devices is dependent on delivery. We are working with DCPS to speed up the delivery as best we can.
When staff meets next week, we will talk about how we will adjust for a lack of devices and communicate to families accordingly.
The Race, Class, and Equity parent group is working on a device drive, which seems like will be even more helpful given this news. I'll keep you posted!
