ABOUT
Stuart-Hobson Middle School offers a comprehensive academic program appropriately rigorous for the learning needs of young adolescents. We have accelerated Humanities, Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, Science, and Social Studies courses. Our dedicated faculty engages all students in participation in National History Day, Citywide Science Fair and School-wide Enrichment Model. We also offer Studio Art, Project Lead the Way, Brainology, Band/Orchestra, and Physical Education core courses.
SCHEDULE
Students may enter the building and have breakfast at 8:15am. SHMS follows a seven period school day beginning at 9:00am. To view the Bell Schedule, click here.
The school day includes advisory during 1st period, four core classes (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), two electives, and one lunch and recess period. The day ends at 3:30pm when students can participate in After School All Stars, athletics, and clubs.
