Our dedicated faculty engages all students in participation in National History Day, Citywide Science Fair and School-wide Enrichment Model. We also offer Studio Art, Project Lead the Way, Brainology, Band/Orchestra, and Physical Education core courses.
Students may enter the building and have breakfast at 8:15am. SHMS follows a seven period school day beginning at 9:00am. To view the Bell Schedule, click here.
The school day includes advisory during 1st period, four core classes (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), two electives, and one lunch and recess period. The day ends at 3:30pm when students can participate in After School All Stars, athletics, and clubs.
At Stuart-Hobson Middle School, we welcome volunteers like you to support our activities and events. In order to volunteer with us on a regular basis, individuals need to follow the DCPS volunteer application process.
